Might as well just laugh
The universe keeps spinning
No where stays for long
// Eoten
Might as well just laugh
The universe keeps spinning
No where stays for long
// Eoten
A useless art
Empty
Overshadowed by fizzing screens
Constant movement
Sole space of silence
Invites you to step inside
Your own head
// Eoten
Lace of sparks curls
Crown-like
I am inside contained briefly
Or beyond
Another shape entirely
Between skull bones and tongue
A little broken
A little queer
The unreliable narrator of reality
Of soft impressions fluid
Finding all the cracks
But I am something else
star lit darkness deep
No depths no bones at all
The imperfect channels will erode
Sputter into dissolution
Leaving me bare and bright
// Eoten
Spider on my face
Brings me here
Today I am awake
Now to write again
The silence of her feet
Rebukes my silence
Gentle I am told
No more to hide
No more to wait
Such small things as my words
Are called upon by her
And I don’t understand
That never matters
When they call us we must come
Or wake to find them on us
Every disturbed night
// Eoten
What mighty word decreed
Dominion in this place
To me
Too heavy weighs upon my sleep
The great decisions
Of who stays who leaves
How can a human know
The necessary depths of fur
And teeth
In hidden holes buried
Beneath floorboards
// Eoten
Inconvenience beats
Louder than my proud heart
Words like wings wait too late
Under thundering frowns
Content to keep skin-deep
Gazes my mazes mist
My eyes two-way mirrors
Covering their comfort
// Eoten
